Required Documents

Identity Documents

Application Process
Follow these steps to complete your application
Create Your Account
Register as a parent/guardian using your phone number. You'll receive an OTP to verify your account. Once verified, complete your profile with your details and district.
Add Your Child's Profile
Enter your child's details including name, date of birth, current school, and class. Upload the required documents such as birth certificate and passport photo.
Search & Compare Schools
Browse schools by district, education level, type, and fee range. View school profiles with details on facilities, fees, and UNEB performance. Save favorites to compare later.
Submit Your Application
Select the school and class you're applying for. Upload any additional documents required by the specific school. Write a personal statement if needed, then review and submit.
Pay Application Fee
Pay the school's application fee securely via MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money. Enter your phone number and authorize the payment on your phone. You'll receive an instant SMS receipt.
Track & Respond
Monitor your application status in your dashboard. Receive SMS updates at every stage. If accepted, respond to the offer and proceed with enrollment. Pay tuition fees via Mobile Money when ready.

Application FAQs
What if I don't have all the required documents?
You can still start your application and save it as a draft. Upload the remaining documents when you have them. However, your application won't be processed until all required documents are submitted.
Can I edit my application after submitting?
Once submitted, you cannot edit your application. However, you can contact the school through EduConnect if you need to provide additional information or correct errors.
What happens if my application is rejected?
You'll receive an SMS notification with the decision. You can apply to other schools or try again in the next admission cycle. Some schools offer waitlist spots - check your dashboard for details.
Is the application fee refundable?
Application fees are generally non-refundable, regardless of the admission decision. This fee covers the cost of processing your application.
How long does it take to get a decision?
Processing times vary by school, typically 2-4 weeks. You'll receive SMS updates as your application moves through each stage. Check your dashboard for real-time status.
Can I apply for scholarships through EduConnect?
Some schools offer scholarships and bursaries that you can indicate interest in during the application. Check individual school profiles for available financial aid options.
