How to Pay

Complete your payment in a few simple steps

Select Payment

In your dashboard, find the application or fee you want to pay. Click the "Pay Now" button to start the payment process.

Choose Mobile Money Provider

Select MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money based on your registered mobile money account.

Enter Your Phone Number

Enter the mobile money phone number you want to pay from. Ensure you have sufficient balance in your account.

Authorize on Your Phone

You'll receive a USSD prompt on your phone. Enter your Mobile Money PIN to authorize the payment. Do not share your PIN with anyone.

Receive Confirmation

Once payment is successful, you'll receive an SMS receipt immediately. The payment will reflect in your EduConnect dashboard within seconds.

Application Fee

One-time fee charged by schools to process your admission application. Non-refundable.

Tuition Fees

Main school fees covering teaching, learning materials, and academic activities. Paid termly or annually.

For boarding students - covers accommodation, meals, and residential facilities.

UGX 500,000 - 2,000,000/term

Development Levy

Annual contribution towards school infrastructure improvements and maintenance.

What if my payment fails?

If your payment fails, no money is deducted from your account. Check that you have sufficient balance and try again. If the issue persists, wait a few minutes or contact our support team.

Can I pay from someone else's phone?

Yes, you can use any registered Mobile Money number to pay. The payment will be linked to your EduConnect account regardless of which phone number makes the payment.

How do I get a receipt?

You'll receive an SMS receipt immediately after successful payment. You can also download a detailed PDF receipt from your EduConnect dashboard at any time.

Can I pay in installments?

Some schools allow installment payments for tuition fees. Check the specific school's payment policy on their profile page or contact the school directly.

Is there a payment deadline?

Application fees should be paid immediately after submission to activate your application. Tuition payment deadlines are set by each school and will be communicated upon acceptance.

Can I get a refund?

Application fees are non-refundable. For tuition refunds, policies vary by school. Contact the school directly for their refund policy.

What currencies are accepted?

All payments are processed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) through MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money.
